Hi everyone,

I'm Jayne or as everyone knows me Jumping Jayne, am one half of Dr Daves along with my husband.

A bit of background from me I always done events or customer service in various roles before I foundered Dr Daves We founded Dr Daves in 2011 as we both decided we love to make a business out of something we loved.

We loved helping plan and host amazing parties and events. Me I love helping you guys plan your special occasion or event and having a friendly approach to it and I treat all what I do as I would if it was my own.

I have ensured the company is disability aware and we are proud to be autism champion company as I feel this is very important that everyone has a enjoyable time at parties or events. This is down to also having personal experience of this as I have a child with autism.

MEET THE STAFF

Dr Dave here, or Dave Wood as I’m known on Hospital Radio. I have been working as a DJ for far too long to remember; I first started DJing on a semi professional basis in Manchester doing Friday nights Karaoke whilst studying Nursing at University, and when Ill health ended my university course; I continued to DJ eventually turning professional in 2008. I worked freelance as a professional DJ, working with agencies, and some entertainment companies through the northwest & north wales, working everywhere from Blackpool to Bangor and as far south as Derby. In venues such as Hotels, Social Clubs, Football Stadia, Rugby Stadia, Aintree Racecourse, onboard the world famous Mersey Ferries.

In Early 2011 myself and my wife Jayne (Jumping Jayne) decided to found Dr Daves Disco & Entertainments, from which we have gone from strength to strength, in 2012 we became a Limited Company in England & Wales, as we have grown in popularity and started to offer so much more then Disco’s, therefore in 2017 we changed the company name to its present name Dr Daves Entertainments LTD. In 2013 I started presenting a show on Hospital Radio which I am a proud supporter of, I continually volunteer for Liverpool Hospital Broadcasting Service (Radio Broadgreen) where I present the Wednesday Evening Show from 7pm - 9pm “The 80’s Experience”, in addition to this I have a few hobbies, I’m an avid Liverpool FC fan, I love watching films, Watching Formula 1 & listening to my beloved Heavy Metal & Clubland genre’s of music (although not quite as loud now that we have children). I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and taking our well earned family holidays once a year. In April of 2018 we attended the Autism Awareness course with Autism Together where as over 10% of our employed staff (it’s actually 100%) we had the opportunity to become Autism Champions on the Champions program, which is a large part of our business and we wear the autism logo (the jigsaw) with pride.
